CIPS Professional Register

The Professional Register is a list of current CIPS members, showing membership status and ethical professional commitment.

Using the register enables you to verify an individual’s membership status, professional designation and being trained in ethics by having successfully completed CIPS Ethical Procurement and Supply eLearning and test in the last 12 months. The Register endorses the status of members by providing global, public visibility - demonstrating to fellow professionals, clients, employers and prospective employers your professional status and commitment to your career and to the profession.


Recently updated - the CIPS Professional Register now lets you add information to your profile – including your specialisms and areas of expertise, who you are and any details that will showcase your professional credibility and improve your recognition.

Professional Register FAQs

No, you need to be a current member. If you would like to find out more about how to become a member take a look at our membership options.

Please check that your membership is currently active. If you are not a member join now if you are a current member but can't see yourself on the register - you may have previously opted out. To opt back in simply log in to your My CIPS profile and untick the opt out checkbox.

If your membership is not active you will need to renew now - as you need to be a member to appear on the register.

The Professional Register is a directory of active CIPS members, showcasing their membership status and dedication to ethical professionalism. It affirms members' standing by offering worldwide public visibility, allowing peers, employers, and potential employers to verify their professional credentials.

If as a member, you do not want your name to appear on our Professional Register simply log in to your My CIPS profile and tick the opt out checkbox.

The issued date refers to the date your membership certificate was generated when you renewed, rejoined or changed grade . Please note. that this date does not represent the date you were first awarded your membership.

To update your profile on the Professional Register, follow these steps:

1. Visit our Professional Register and click Sign In, which can be located top right of the screen.

2. If this is your first time accessing our eCertificate platform (Accredible), you’ll need to reset your password using the email address associated with your MyCIPS account. You will then use those details each time you wish to update your details within Accredible.

3. Once signed in, you’ll be taken to your profile page.

4. From here, you can update your:

  • Privacy Settings
  • Bio
  • Profile picture
  • Location
  • Social media links

Share on social media - show your commitment to your career and to the profession by adding your digital certificate to your LinkedIn profile and sharing with your LinkedIn connections and across other social media channels.

Take a look at your new digital membership certificate and start showcasing your professional status. Here’s all you need to do to access your digital certificate immediately:

Simply log in to MyCIPS and click View eCertificate. To add and share on LinkedIn simply scroll down from your digital certificate and follow the instructions.
